Challenges

The layout of the site is one of its most important features because it allows users to access all of the information they need quickly and easily without having to scroll through endless pages of text or download large files but setting the responsive layout comes with a lot of challenges.

Here what we faced:

  • We need to make sure that all of the users are using HTTPS so that malware cannot steal data from other sites.
  • Themes for WordPress are free but customizing them can be difficult. We choose a theme from a third party website. We faced trouble installing it because it didn't work properly with certain plug-ins like ImageSmoothing.
  • One such challenge is related to the fact that Wordpress is a HTML 5 based platform, which means that it supports only one type of styling - CSS (Cascading Style Sheets).
  • We had to be careful when choosing themes because some of them may contain malware or other harmful files.
  • WordPress Multisite allows you to have multiple sites on the same domain or subdomain but this is the major challenge to manage multiple authors working together on different projects.
