About The Project

The BSCIC is established as an independent Conformity Assessment Body and Training Organization. The website is built on wordpress with modern functionalities. The site has a fully responsive design that adapts to different screen sizes, allowing it to be viewed on any device. The design of the website was done by discussing the team at BSCIC, which included graphic design, web development and SEO. The site was built using WordPress, which allowed for easy updating in the future.

Website Features

Website Features

  • The website is designed to cater for all types of businesses. The images, text and navigation are easy to use and navigate through.
  • WordPress website template has been built on top of the popular open source WordPress content management system (CMS).
  • This theme is very easy to set up and customize, allowing you to add your own content or change the appearance of the site as you see fit.
  • The website includes a detailed About Us section, which provides an overview of the company and its services.
  • The site also contains testimonials from previous clients, who are happy with the service provided by the company.

Admin Features

  • Customization: Customize your site with themes, plugins and widgets.
  • Content Management: Edit articles, pages or posts on the fly.
  • Social Media Integration: Share content on Twitter, Facebook and other social networks.
  • Multimedia capabilities: Use videos in your posts or pages to engage readers and encourage them to share your content on their own blogs or websites.
  • Ecommerce integration: Sell products on your blog through WooCommerce (the most popular ecommerce plugin for Wordpress).

The layout of the site is one of its most important features because it allows users to access all of the information they need quickly and easily without having to scroll through endless pages of text or download large files but setting the responsive layout comes with a lot of challenges.

Here what we faced:

  • We need to make sure that all of the users are using HTTPS so that malware cannot steal data from other sites.
  • Themes for WordPress are free but customizing them can be difficult. We choose a theme from a third party website. We faced trouble installing it because it didn't work properly with certain plug-ins like ImageSmoothing.
  • One such challenge is related to the fact that Wordpress is a HTML 5 based platform, which means that it supports only one type of styling - CSS (Cascading Style Sheets).
  • We had to be careful when choosing themes because some of them may contain malware or other harmful files.
  • WordPress Multisite allows you to have multiple sites on the same domain or subdomain but this is the major challenge to manage multiple authors working together on different projects.
