About The Project

Terrace House Restaurant Wordpress Website is a restaurant that specializes in serving Indian Culture food, providing the best quality of food to its customers. The website is designed to be responsive and mobile friendly. It has been tested on all major browsers such as Chrome, Firefox, IE (9 and above), Safari and Opera. The design of the site is clean and modern, with a simple navigation bar that highlights the main content and menu items. The site is built using Wordpress. The client chose Wordpress because it's able to be customized easily if needed, so we could make changes as needed without having to hire someone else to do it for us.

The theme is clean and minimalistic, but still gives the restaurant enough space for its logo, menu items and other information.
Support for adding photos to your menu items and blog posts, as well as social media integration.
The website also has an option of “Book a table” where customers can make reservations through the website..

Admin Features

Add/Edit/Delete Categories – In this feature, admin can add new categories to the website.
Add/Edit/Delete Pages – In this feature, admin can add new pages to the website.
Admin can add/delete menu items and they will be visible on the front end.
Add/Edit/Delete Attachment – admin can also upload images and other files in this feature.
Admin can also change the color of the header of the website by uploading a color file.

Challenges

The menu should be easily navigable for customers who are looking for something specific on their menu card.
The previous color scheme does not match with what they are trying to convey in overall theme, so changing it makes everything look more professional and cohesive.
The CMS should be easy to use, but at the same time it should provide all the necessary functionality for the restaurant website.
The user experience must be smooth and intuitive so that customers can easily navigate through our restaurant website.
